Desert flowers are great...I love those little purple flowers. Asters?
Ah, brick by brick, you should get it done. I would love to do that one day. An outbuilding with a shop/shed on the bottom, and on top a studio/guest quarter suite. Our neighbors down the way have a really cool adobe they built. I'd do adobe I think.
